Jeanette Hokulani (Hoku) Chunn

Hokulani (Hoku) joins DGWA as our Office Manager. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Venture Capital and Investment Banking industries. 

Hoku began her career in marketing and event planning, steering her to lead internal company events, annual meetings, and CEO conferences. In her early years, she was the assistant to Founding Partners and Managing Directors at Trident Capital in Los Angeles and Palo Alto, CA.

Hoku furthered her career in administration at JP Morgan Securities, Inc. where she was an Executive Assistant to Equity Capital Markets West Coast Team and Capital Structure Advisory and Solutions team between 2006-2011. She transitioned to the Global Corporate Banking department from 2011 – 2013. Hoku continued office administration responsibilities at Standard Chartered bank, LLC in San Francisco from 2013-2017. 

As a Savvy independent woman, Hoku has decided to re-enter the workforce. In her second act, as our office manager, Hoku’s mission is to provide the highest quality of service to our clients and support the operations at DGWA.

Originally from Hayward, and now reside in San Ramon, CA with her husband and five children. In her free time, Hoku enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
